Experiment details

Abstract

TAT_At-211 - In this experiment, an alpha beam accelerated by SPIRAL-2 was used to produce At-210 via the reaction Bi-209(alpha, 3n)At-210 and At-211 via the reaction Bi-209(alpha, 2n)At-211. To achieve this, Bi-209 targets were irradiated at various alpha beam energies between 28 and 31 MeV. At-210 and At-211 production cross sections were measured by using gamma-ray spectroscopy. The incident particle flux was monitored using an instrumented faraday cup and validated with copper XXX
