GANIL publication and data policy

Data policy

All spokepersons and users participating in GANIL experiment are obliged to comply with GANIL publication and data policy. They are asked to commit to it when submitting a proposal via the XpGan platform.

Publications

GANIL users shall give proper credit to GANIL and CIMAP staff members who participated in the experiment and mention the experimental facilities used, more particularly the beam-line, which were essential for the results described in any ensuing publication.

Thus, GANIL considers it natural that local contacts who have made a significant contribution to the conception, execution, analysis and/or interpretation of experiments should be offered the opportunity to be listed as authors in publications.

As a minimum, please make sure for any publication to:

• Mention the GANIL affiliation (https://ror.org/042dc0x18).
• Acknowledge assistance from GANIL staff in the acknowledgment section.
• Remember to register your publication to GANIL by sending an email with the publication reference to this address.

DOIs for GANIL datasets

When publishing results from a GANIL experiment, you must cite the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) reference of the dataset using the specified format available on the DOI landing page.
