The experiment aims at probing the collectivity of 34Si at low-excitation energy. The combination of (p,p') inelastic scattering reactions in ACTAR-TPC and Coulomb and nuclear excitation reactions in an independent setup consisting in a double ring of segmented-silicon detectors, 8 EXOGAM and 8 PARIS detectors will allow determining the relative contribution of protons and neutrons in the populated excited states. A pygmy dipole resonance mode will also be sought for using the Coulex setup.
